September Pre-K Recap

Big events in Liam's first month in Pre-K:
*He was Star of the Week during the first week of September.
*He learned all of his vowel sounds.
*Ms. Katie surprised the Sneeky Kleets by attending one of their blast ball games.
*Liam memorized a Bible verse each week.
*His class took fall pictures.
*His class also had their first test on vowel sounds.
*Sloan had a school-wide patriotic march in remembrance of 9/11/01.
*Liam had 4 purple days on his behavior calendar!!!  (That's good)
*When presented with a letter, he learned to distinguish when consonants and vowels.
*He can now count to 100 with a little assistance transitioning to some of the 10s places.
*He participated in L252 (Luke 2:52) in chapel on Monday mornings.
*He learned how to count to ten in Spanish.
*His class had their first field trip to the library...
*...And their second field trip to Fire Station #4.
*He introduced Ms. Katie to his "girls" (a.k.a. sisters) at Sloan's fall Open House.

And all that was just September!

Memaw and Poppie came to visit during the Patriotic March.

When Liam has a purple day on his behavior calendar, he has the privilege of eating dinner on our special red plate.  On this particular night, we let him pick what he wanted for dinner, too.  A Sonick Wacky Pack is what the boy wanted.  :)
Best buddies!
