Not Your Ordinary Sunday Afternoon...

Amy Stevenson is a sweet friend from church who rocked and loved on our babies in the nursery, never meets a stranger, and has the absolutely loveliest singing voice around.  A couple of weeks ago, Amy asked me if the kids could come to the opening ceremony of Mary's Play House, behind Irving's Heritage House.  Since it is a play house, they were looking for kids to...well...play.  To our surprise, when we got there the the organizer of the event asked if they wouldn't mind greeting guests, passing out programs, and best of all, CUTTING THE RED RIBBON in the grand opening ceremony.  The local cable channel even interviewed them at the end.  It was a pretty memorable afternoon for our little trio, all thanks Ms. Amy.
