Gentle Zoo

Since we had a cool-down yesterday in the metroplex, we decided to load the kids in the car and head for the country.  We ended up at the Gentle Zoo in Forney for a fun morning on the farm. 

 

 We fed the animals.   Ellery really wanted to take one of these four-legged friends home.  She loved it!

 There also was  a bounce house...

 A giant sandbox and playground...

 A train ride with a tractor...

 A maze..

 ...And some quality time with tortoises.

 Jon also found a new BFF (Best Feathered Friend), this crazy looking bird.  :)
