Year of the Fallen Corn Dogs

Since we don't have school tomorrow, this evening seemed like the perfect time to go to the state fair.

Marin liked the corn dogs.
Here's a cow made out of butter.

When we saw this face, we weren't quite sure,

But Ellery loved every bite.  Unfortunately, moments after this picture was taken, the corn dog hit the ground, thanks to her big brother...And then another flew through the air and landed at his feet 45 seconds later.  Geesh!  Those things are almost five bucks each.  Oh well, Liam was having problems holding on to food tonight, especially if it was on a stick.

After two fallen corn dogs, it was time to visit Little Hands on the Farm, a favorite for the past few years.

While Liam was watering peach trees,

Jon found a fried frito pie
Big Tex was looking as large as usual.
He's always such a big crowd pleaser.
We hit the midway next, so Liam could get his motorcycle fix.

He also did a little drag racing.

Our final food stop was for cotton candy.  After that, we came home and put three sticky, tired, happy children to bed after a fun night at the fair.
