Every Day Seems Like a Vacation

Maybe I should clarify this title by saying every day feels like we’re packing up for some sort of family road trip.  And it’s not a fun road trip.  We go to work.  Three kids mean lots of extra bodies and gear to haul every morning as we make the three mile journey to daycare.  We take eight bottles, pacifiers, a sippy cup, bibs, diapers, wipes, extra clothes, gas drops, daily schedule logs, and the list keeps going.  It seems like we should be gone for eight days instead of eight hours.  We’ve developed a pretty unyielding morning routine, but even after doing this for almost three months, there are still days we don’t remember everything.  (Like right now, I just remembered Liam forgot to take his vitamin this morning).   But I guess as long as we’re not forgetting a child, we’re okay.

Note:  This post could alternatively be titled, "18 Minutes."  That's how many minutes late I woke up this morning.  And, believe me, it wasn't pretty.  NOT PRETTY AT ALL.
