Easter Fun

What a nice Easter we have had this year.  Adding two baby girls to our family has definitely added extra fun to the day!  After a rich morning at church celebrating our risen Savior, we headed over to Nana and Papa's for lunch and Easter egg hunt #3.   Liam had fun playing with his cousins.  I don't know if it was playing hard all day, no nap,  or a sugar-induced coma, but he hit the hay at 7:00, and we haven't heard a peep since.

The girls had fun watching this year, but next year, they'll be grabbing eggs with everyone else.

Gracyn founds some good ones!

Eggs

During the Easter Season, we...

Dye  Eggs

And go on Easter egg hunts!

Next year this little girl is going to be in the middle of the mix.  She's already planning her egg hunting strategy.

3 Year Check-Up

And here are the stats...
Height:  38 inches
Weight:  36 pounds
All in all, pretty average little guy in size...but to his Mama and Daddy, there's nothing average with this boy.  Our little dude is three.  Sigh.

We Heart Visitors

It's so much fun when we have visitors!  Liam knows that when Grandpa comes to visit, there will be a trip to Chuck E. Cheese, lots of candy, and getting away with a little more mischief than Daddy and Mama allow.  The girls just love to cuddle and play with Grandpa.

And poor Uncle Patrick (aka Unky P) gets a workout from the time he touches down in DFW until he boards the plane headed back for Minnesota.  What a great sport of an uncle these kids have!  We sure do love this guy!!!

Please, please, please come back to see us soon!  And next time, bring Grandma, too!!!

And the Rest of the Weekend...

This weekend was filled-to-the-brim with fun, and that's just the way I like it!  Dad, Patrick, Debby, Jeff, and Avonlea came into town for Liam's birthday party, so we had a house party for the weekend.  We went to the Fort Worth Main Street Art Festival on Saturday morning, and it was the perfect day to soak in the sun and peruse some pretty cool art exhibits.  When we got home, Debby and I caught a little shopping in the afternoon before heading over to Memaw and Poppie's for dinner.  Jon's Dad is pretty fabulous when it comes to grilling, and he certainly did not disappoint on Saturday night.  Oh, those steaks were so good, I could just eat one right now!  This morning, we had the baby dedication at church for the girls and Liam...we were a little late on his, but that's okay.  It was nice to dedicate all three together, and it was even better to have lots of family there.

Even when she cries, she's cute.

Taking a break

So here's the story:  Debby was sitting on the curb when all of a sudden water started shooting out from the pipe just below her.  She gave a surprised little yelp and hollered, "My water broke."  Those people who heard cast concerned glances her way, as we started laughing hysterically.  I love my sister.  We have so much fun together!

Liam's Big Orange Birthday Party

We celebrated Liam's third birthday on Friday evening at Paradise Pond in Grapevine.  What a great night filled with lots of friends, family, food, and fun!
