During our time at Yellowstone, we spent three nights in the cabins at Old Faithful. I stayed there with my family when we visited when I was a kid, and it's still a terrific place to stay. It definitely has a campy feel (i.e. community bathrooms, no t.v., very limited cell phone service) with the luxury of beds, clean linens, and sinks in every cabin. They are in the heart of Yellowstone and just steps away from Old Faithful, the lodge, inn, visitor center, ranger station, cafeterias, and general store. But, if you want to reserve a cabin, book early because they fill up a year in advance.
