NYE Celebrating

More times than not, we opt to have a low-key New Year's Eve with just the five of us.  This year we had a cheese fondue for dinner--next year it'll be chocolate, since the cheese was not a huge hit with my crew.  We played games and watched t.v., as the parents kids struggled to stay awake until the magic hour of midnight.  In the end, Marin's "little rest" around 11:40 led to her ringing in 2016 in the living room on the couch.  The rest of us made it, clinked our sparkling cider at midnight, and shortly thereafter crashed.
