Thanksgiving usually means crisp air, falling leaves, turkey,
pumpkin pie, and football. Not for us
this year. It was more like a Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, warm
sea breezes, shopping with the locals, and a steak dinner. Although nontraditional, it was a very happy
one for us in Cozumel.
I don't remember how or when exactly it started, but sometimes Jon and I look at each other and decide something (or someone) is crazy, bizarre, or NUTS, and we mutter, "Banana sandwiches." This term can also describe life in the Bushwar house, so what better title for a blog about the ooey-gooey and the sometimes crazy moments of my life?
