It's that time of year again! I love when we have a chance to pack our Operation Christmas Child boxes. This year, I took Liam shopping, and he picked almost all of the items that we packed. This is such an incredible way for parents to introduce foreign missions and plant the seeds of the Great Commission in the hearts of our children. As a mama, life doesn't get much better than hearing your little one pray over theses green and red boxes, asking God to bless the children who receive them.
On Sunday, Liam was so excited to see all the boxes our church has collected so far.
I don't remember how or when exactly it started, but sometimes Jon and I look at each other and decide something (or someone) is crazy, bizarre, or NUTS, and we mutter, "Banana sandwiches." This term can also describe life in the Bushwar house, so what better title for a blog about the ooey-gooey and the sometimes crazy moments of my life?
