The kids had fun playing water games outside. The only thing that could draw Liam back inside was birthday cake.

Jon spent lots of time working on the nursery this weekend. He painted the floor, an accent wall, and pretty pink flowers on the floor...more pictures soon to follow on the nursery, but rest assured, it is coming right along. Anyway, it's not like the babies will be here next week or anything like that. Nope, that would be cutting it way too close. Totally not our style.
Liam and Jon also spent some time in the pool, because, well, that's just what you do inTexas during the summer.
After church and naps today, we decided to be adventurous and take a trip to the mall. Liam rode the train, the carousal, and saw all the "animals" at the Rainforest Cafe.
Here are a couple more pictures of precious Avonlea. Even though she may be keeping her Mommy and Daddy awake during the night, she seems pretty peaceful and content in Grandma's arms during the day.

Susan, Thanks for keeping us posted on all the happenings in your family and for the great pictures of Liam. He is a very busy little boy, enjoying all the aspects of life that he can while he is still #1 in the family. I'm sure the nursery will be plenty ready in time for those two little bundles of JOY to arrive and all of you will welcome them home with plenty of OPEN ARMS!!! Little Avonlea Grace is a beautiful addition to the family and Debby & Jeff will do wonderfully as parents. Your mom & Patrick are having a wonderful time with all of them then will be there with you when your precious little bundles join the family. Can't wait to see all three beautiful little girls when you all visit Minnesota!!!
