We started our Easter festivities on Saturday morning at church. Liam colored and decorated a paper Easter egg. Before the Easter egg hunt, the kiddos had story time.
Then it was time to hunt for Easter eggs! Notice Liam's sippy cup shoved in Jon's front pocket. Such a Daddy-look that Jon can definately pull-off.
Liam wasn't shy about grabbing as many as he could find.
Later that afternoon, we dyed Easter eggs at home.
Believe it or not, Liam didn't make a mess or spill the food coloring.
He also helped Mama with her eggs.
The Easter Bunny did come visit overnight, and it didn't take Liam too long to find his basket. He actually had two baskets this year. I guess the Easter Bunny was feeling generous since he knew that this was Liam's last only-child year to cash in on all the candy and treats.
After a great Easter service at church, we headed over to Nana and Papa's for lunch. Here's Liam in his Easter outfit. He looked like such a little boy in this outfit.
He had lots of fun playing with his cousins. He loves all four and is always talking about them. Here's a funny-faced Liam with Nana and Papa.
A family pic to remember Easter 2010...
Liam played outside all day with his cousins.
We ended the day having a belated birthday dinner for Jon. Since Liam and I were in Minnesota for Jon's birthday, we've been waiting for just the right time to celebrate. We had Chinese take-out, and Jon got to eat on the red birthday plate--the official symbol that it's your birthday dinner.
