Here's a view of our backyard.It's been a pretty crazy winter here in Texas. Although we usually get a little snow and ice every winter, this year has been the granddaddy of them all. On Thursday we woke up to a layer of snow and slush, and it kept falling all day and all night. My Aunt Peggy from Minnesota came in to visit just in time to see almost a foot of snow hit the ground...something that somebody from Minnesota doesn't want to see when headed south! Unfortunately, we lost electricity, so we had to head to a hotel for Friday and Saturday night. Jon's parents and grandparents also were left in the dark, so we all had a party at the hotel.
