Spring Music

Liam's choir sang during our Wednesday prayer gathering one week, and then two weeks later the girls sang.  Loved hearing their sweet voices lifted high in song to our Jesus.

Easter Festivities

We started Easter with breakfast and a visit from the Easter bunny.  Then, we were off to church to celebrate our risen Savior.
After church, we headed over to Nana and Papa's for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.  But first, it was picture time!
 Cousins.
 The little ladies.
Dudes.
Nana and Papa's gang of grandkids.
Memaw and Poppie's gang of great-grandkids.
 The kid table.
After lunch, it was time to hunt Easter eggs!

LUKE 24:6-7
6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:
7 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' "

Eggs. Lots of Eggs.

Today was full of Easter eggs--hunting, dyeing, and smashing.
We started the morning with our annual church Easter egg hunt.
In the afternoon, the little gals and I headed over to my friend  Michele's house to dye Easter eggs.
We ended our afternoon with cascarones.  It's always fun to smash an egg on your sister's head, right?!?
Liam also had a chance to dye eggs with mama this evening.

Season's First Tourney

Last weekend was also Liam's first baseball tournament, and the Defenders were playing some pretty tough teams.  Our boys put forth their excellent effort and made their fans proud!  Win or lose, we are so happy that Liam is playing baseball this year with such a great group of kids and coaches.  It's going to be a terrific baseball season.  Go Defenders!
