Wedding Shower...With a Twist

The Tuesday evening before the wedding, my sister Debby, sister-in-law Mandi, and I hosted a shower at a local restaurant for Jamie.  Instead of playing games, we each painted a Christmas ornament that Patrick and Jamie can use on their tree in December.  It was so much fun to be able to celebrate their upcoming wedding and shower Jamie with lots of love and well-wishes...and show off our creative, artistic selves in the process.

Anniversary 8

Today we celebrated our 8th Anniversary.  In Owatonna. With a trip to Dairy Queen.  And a stroll around the Art Center at the West Hills where we got married.  Happy Anniversary to the guy I love.

Here we are 8 years later.  Things have changed a little.  :)

One Big Giant Party

The beginning of summer is packed full of birthdays for our family, so this year we celebrated everyone--Rylann, Ellery, Marin, Memaw, and Papa--with a one big pool party at our house on Sunday evening.  And since it was also Father's Day, we threw that in the mix, too!

So this happened today...My little brother married this sweet gal.  Happy Wedding Day, Jamie and Patrick. We love you guys and are excited to see what God has in store for your lives together!

2014 T-Ball

Discover.Decide.Defend.

We had Vacation Bible School last week, and the kids had so much fun at Agency D3 as secret agents. Their job was to discover who Jesus really is, decide that He is Lord, and defend Him to others.  I worked with the kindergarten (Liam's) class and loved seeing those little people come in the room everyday with excitement on their faces.

Tumble, Play, and Celebrate!

These three little sweet friends had  a combo birthday party on Saturday at IGGA where they all take gymnastics.  They had a blast with their buddies.  It was such a fun, organized (and worry-free) place to have a birthday party.
