Happy Father's Day to this guy. He can toast a killer waffle, dodge Nerf gun ammo, accessorize a petite princess, and lead a piggy pile charge. Oh, and he's also the designated nail clipper around our house. Thanks for all you do. We love you, Daddy!!!
We started the week with an outing with the Daultons to the Dallas Arboretum on Tuesday. It was a perfect morning to let the kids explore the children's garden. The only hiccup occurred when Ellery fell into a swampy wetland that surrounds an exhibition area. She was dirty and soaking wet, but her primary concern was that it could have contained alligators. Fortunately, we all lived to tell the tale.
Bowling, ping-pong playing pirates and foosball shooting, scooter riding princesses made up cousin Avonlea's 4th birthday party. What a fun day we had celebrating this special little gal.
Let summer officially begin around here...As of this afternoon, we are finished with school. Let the staying-up-late swimming, bug-catching, dirty feet and sticky popsicle fun begin.
When Liam looses teeth, he seems to do it in pairs. Yesterday his fifth tooth fell out, and today he lost his sixth. Both of them at school. Although not as drastic as his missing front teeth were, his holey little grin makes me smile.
I don't remember how or when exactly it started, but sometimes Jon and I look at each other and decide something (or someone) is crazy, bizarre, or NUTS, and we mutter, "Banana sandwiches." This term can also describe life in the Bushwar house, so what better title for a blog about the ooey-gooey and the sometimes crazy moments of my life?
