The Best

Moms are the best...
More specifically, my mom is the best.  I love her and am so thankful for all that she has done, is doing, and promises to do in the future for our family.

 My life is so blessed by the love, lives, and legacies of amazing women.

And everyday I am also grateful that God has granted me the privilege to be Mama to these three little loves. It really is the best job around!

A Great-Grand Kind of A Day

Liam had a fun day hanging out with Memaw and Poppie.  We all went to lunch together at Babes, and then, as he sometimes does, dumped us and spent the rest of the day with them.  When they returned him after dinner, he was pretty wiped out from playing outside, washing Poppie's car, and, oh yeah, a trip to Chuck E. Cheese.  I don't know about you, but I think a Chuck E. Cheese outing rivals running a marathon in terms of exhaustion, but somehow, these great grandparents seemed to have as much fun as our six-year-old.

Blue Bonnet Babies

When spring hits Texas, little children are thrown into patches of blue bonnets as parents eagerly snap pictures of their babies.  Thanks to Rick Smith for the awesome blue bonnet pictures!  

While Their Brother Plays Ball

Morning treats from the Collin Street Bakery,

Kona Ice in the afternoon,

Playing with friends, 

Playing on the playground, 

and wrestling on picnic blankets.

That's what the girls do while their brother is in a t-ball tournament.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Corsicana Tournament

We spent the weekend in Corsicana...nothing like a slow, little Texas town with the sun shining and kids playing baseball.  Nothing except WINNING THE T-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP, that is. Way to go, Irving Longhorns!!!
