Storming Campus

The Martin-Crain-Bushwar crew took Baylor by storm on Sunday afternoon. We kind of bring a rowdy party with us where ever we go.  We're loud.  Our kids run in circles and chase squirrels.  If there's a step, rock, or statue to climb, they gleefully accept the challenge.  But, as Debby reminded me, we were just giving all the current students who were trying to peacefully lounge in their hammocks or on blankets on patches of sunny grass a tiny glimpse into what life may look like for them post-college.  

House Full O'Family

We had a house full of family this weekend, and it was wonderful!  Can't think of a better way to enjoy the long weekend than with Grandma, Grandpa, and our Houston gang.

No. 3 & 4

It was just a typical Monday bath night, until a scream from the bathroom filled the downstairs.  Jon rushed in and saw a bloody-mouthed Liam fishing out a tooth from the bubbly water.  Liam's third lost tooth--this time a top one--makes for a pretty sweet little smile.

And then this happened today...

The Tooth Fairy is working overtime around our house these days!

While Liam and Daddy were at t-ball practice, the ladies had fun in the backyard on this beautiful Saturday in the middle of winter.

 

Little Star

With the holiday post explosions, I didn't get a chance to post this early, but we had a Star of the Week at our house right before break...MARIN!!!  She was so proud of her poster, bringing special treats for her friends, and basking in the star glory.  :)

New Year Partying

Loved ringing in 2014 with great friends and excited kiddos.  Because there were many small children at the party, we may or may not have joined our friends on the East Coast in counting down the new year, watching the ball drop, cheering, toasting, kissing, and calling it the new year an hour earlier than it actually was in Dallas...
