Animals+Rides=Como Fun

What a fabulous day we had at Como Park with the Johnson/Park gang.  Poor Levi was a little out-numbered, but he was a good sport and didn't let all those girls bother him.  In the morning, we stayed in the zoo area, and after lunch, we let the kids go on rides.  Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, relaxing day!

Glamorous Camping

While the boys were staying in mud huts banging around Africa on the hunt (camera shots only) for wild animals, the girls were showing that they could also rough it...little lady style...in the front yard of Grandma and Grandpa's house.  They did all the things you should do on a camping trip--a night hike, campfire with s'mores, catching fireflies, singing songs, telling stories, and getting all tucked in inside the tent.  They even encountered their own sort of wild critter--a little toad named Freddy.

It's Fair Time in the MN

It's fair time in Minnesota, so we managed to find a couple of county fairs and basked in the glory of fried foods, amusement rides, animals, petting zoos, pony rides, and local entertainers.  We stumbled upon a hypnotist in Waseca and a juggler in Faribault...who just happens to also be my Mom's cousin, Tuey.
