Carving Time

We had a great time on Saturday night with good friends at the Tucker's annual pumpkin carving party.  There were pirates, princesses, Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, a family of Potatoes Heads, a dinosaur, an adorable skunk, Doc McStuffins, and even a few space cadets wondering around during the carving.  Such a fun night!

Autumn at the Arboretum

Every year we go to the Dallas Arboretum in the Fall, and every year seems better than the last.  Saturday turned out to be the perfect day to play on the pumpkins.  :)

I love these next two pictures because it captures the craziness of my Marin AND because Liam was the guy behind my camera.  He loves taking pictures, and I think he does a pretty good job at it, too.

The Very Best Children's Garden Ever. Yes, Ever.

Before climbing all over the pumpkins on Saturday, we took the kiddos to the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden, the latest feature at the Dallas Arboretum.  It is incredible, magical, entertaining, educational, and so creative and artistic.  We spent a few hours wandering and exploring, but we probably could have spent a week.  The kids and adults all loved it, and we'll be back soon.

Green Meadows Farm

Last Friday, Liam's class went to Green Meadows Farm and Pumpkin Patch on a field trip, and I happily tagged along as a chaperon.  What a fun day to spent with my favorite little guy and his sweet friends.
