Defenders Weekend

Liam had a baseball tournament in Corsicana this weekend.  The Defenders did terrific and played their hearts out.  They made us all proud!

And the girls were happy to play on the play ground and eat snowcones.

Autobots, Roll Out!

Liam's birthday party with his friends was on Saturday afternoon at Lil Ninja's, and he had a blast!  He's really into Transformers right now, so that was his theme.  He celebrated with buddies from school, baseball, and church.  He said that it was his best birthday party yet. Even though the obstacle courses were fun, he seemed to gravitate toward the dodge ball court the entire day.  We may have to find a dodge ball team for our seven year old to join in the near future.  :)  Thanks to all his sweet friends who came out to help Liam celebrate.

Blessed Birthday

Our Liam. 7 years old today. He's such a sweet, smart, sensitive, loving, and funny little guy. And most importantly, his love for Jesus keeps growing and growing. On Sunday, our prayers were answered when he accepted Jesus into his heart. He sat between Jon and I on his bed, asked forgiveness from his sins, and accepted the free gift that Jesus offers to all who trust in Him--eternal life.  On the eve of my birthday, it was the best gift a mama could ask for!  Happy Birthday to the one who ushered us into this amazing path of parenthood.  God has amazing plans for you, LiBu.
To celebrate his big day, Liam wanted to go to Red Lobster for dinner tonight.  So, here he is...eating lobster (and mac and cheese with oranges) at Red Lobster.  I guess that's what you do when you're seven years old!

We had a family birthday party this evening to celebrate Liam.  I can't believe our first little one will be seven in a couple of days.
